THE PACK

From kinder days we always form packs, remember your first days at a new school, what is that feeling that we have where you have butterflies in your stomach? It's fear! Fear of not making friends, fear of no one liking you, fear of not wearing the right thing, fear, fear fear, its always the fear that gets us to act irrational and we lose ourselves in this fear sometimes forever. So the first thing we do is form a clique, you make friends, and you feel more comfortable showing up to school the next day because you have someone that's on your team. We are just like animals we need to have a pack to feel comfortable, whether it is right or wrong is not the question, it is a fact we need to have a pack to feel content within ourselves. In early days it's always about a good pack of friends that you need to make you feel good, but as we get older we get hit with the boyfriend and girlfriend partnership, and that's where you get those butterflies all over again. We are programed to believe that we all need to be in relationships, and then have babies and the whole nine yards, which I'm not arguing is the right way to go, but people let the fear that has been programed in them since they were adolescence fallow them throughout their life, the fear transforms from being afraid to not have anyone to play jump rope with to the fear of being alone, and no one loving you or caring for you. To be in a worthy relationship you have to get OVER the fear, you can't be fearful in anything you do, just like I said in the beginning you have to take risks and be confident in yourself that you are not going to be alone. It is a parents job to teach their child that they have nothing to fear and from day one work on confidence. A child that does not have this fear and instead believes in themselves will grow up to be a confident and successful person, live up to the whole fairy tale. And those parents that don't teach their children to be confident does not mean it is the end we have one life to live and every day you can make the change toward bettering yourself, and later on down the line teaching your own children how to not be fearful and be confident instead. It's 2010 and it's time to stand up and change the way of life. Can you imagine the world of confident people, no insecurities, no self esteem issues, not hate, how much more productive the world would be, shit we'd be on the moon when Eve ate the apple not 1960's.
